Chapter 1 – The Beginning

The world now is in peace and harmony; the people live on, confidant that it will be a normal day like always. But, the world was never really in peace… This world itself has it the dark secret that nobody ever known for its sacred tale… The Organization called “The Ancient” that dwell on earth seeking something that only God Knows… The story is stage at the city called Eclipse that known for a place that always grown progressively. The Truth shall be revealed…
The set up is at the building and in the room, a clean girlish decorated room. There got two girls. The elder one, the one with dark-blue long hair. She stands about 157 cm with sparkling golden eye; her face was smooth as silk, with fair chubby cheeks. Her name is Mary Alisa. She is combing her little sister's hair,Mary Lily who is about 13 years old, soft silver like hair which shine like light-sapphire when reflected by the sun. Alisa comb her hair gently and say “Are you ready for your first day at school, Lily? You look cute with the outfit,” she giggles.
“ I’m not sure Sis, I’m quite nervous… there are so many people there.” complain Lily.
This is the day for her first mid-year school. Both of their parents have pass away due to unknown incident that put their uncle to take care of them. Their uncle owns this building. It’s a restaurant, an old but a popular one. The restaurant provided great meal. The customers not only love the food, but also the waitress, which is Alisa, the elder sister, who work for her uncle even though her uncle say not to. The two girls walk at the back door and say good-bye to their uncle and headed to the school. For Alisa, it’s a normal day at school while it’s a different situation for Lily.
“I don’t know about this, sis. I think I might screw up or something…” doubt Lily.
“Well, just try your best. If you can’t introduce your self, you can just bow down like always,” smile Alisa to her little sister.
On the way to the school at the pedestrian walkway, Lily suddenly asks, “So, Sister. Its reminds me about 5 years ago,” “What happen to you? How can you end up at the hospital? Uncle never told me anything because he said I’m still young…. Can you tell me now?” ask Lily.
Alisa startled. She hesitate for a moment then, “Well actually, I was… mugged-”
“Mugged?” ask Lily in shock.
“Yes, the guy who mugged me stabbed me after getting my purse… It happens at the backyard of our house at night. I dint’s seethe mugger there because it was pitch black at the backyard… Luckily, uncle heard my cried for help…” Then with a deep breath she continues, “The doctor said that I could die if I late from getting treatment. Uncle was very angry and sad about this and decided to take care me more, this was also the reason why I afraid of dark,” she sigh.
Lily was rather stunned by hearing the story and feels sorry for her sister. With the feeling of sympathy toward her sister,” I… I’m sorry sis; I didn’t know that you have gone through all this… I never thought that I almost lost you,”
“ But now you are OK with that, right? We promise to do our best in school, I will be the top student just as you do sis,” Lily tries to cheer her sister up.
“I guess you’re right Lily… But remember to always wear you hood with you, you cannot stand the sun too much,” she told Lily with a smile. Then Lily start hopping while saying “ Well then, we have to hurry up or we might be late to school,”
Alisa is glad that Lily was fine after hearing that story… But her eye told a different story, she lie to her little sister because she cannot tell because she was scare with the past…the story that she told Lily was only half true. The incident did happen at the backyard of their apartment and its true that the mugger was still involved…
The truth was in the darkness. She remembers when the mugger was trying to get her purse… In the gruesome night filled with Stygian darkness, there was something in the dark…
In the darkness, a shadowy voice called. The voice was very inhuman like and the presence felted by Alisa that night was very terrible and cannot be explained. The muggers feel it too and demanded that ‘someone’ in the darkness to show himself. Without warning, something in the dark grabbed that mugger’s leg and slowly dragged him by a black smoke which is ‘darker than black’ itself. The mugger screamed in fear and tries to free himself, but his intent was futile. When he disappeared into the darkness, he screamed again, this time… in pain and agony. Alisa was helpless, frozen in fear; unable to run and scream. The thing in the darkness moves closer to her, the dark cloud starting to drag her. She tried to struggle but the effort was in vain, and somehow her body started to lift from the ground.
“Well, well, well, what did we have here?” the creature started to speak. “What an unfortunate young girl you are for being mugged at this time,”
Alisa was shocked to hear this. When she tried to scream, she suddenly felt and an enormous pain. The pain that was so fierce till she cant even scream, the pain was unbearable and she cannot describe how pain it was. She felt like fainting but she wasn’t.
Suddenly it stop, and her body fell on the ground, blood started to spill from her. She was dying. She cant cried for help. She can only watch her apartment and she thought it would be her last. At that helpless situation, her uncle somehow, manages to hear voices from his backyard and discovered Alisa. For Alisa, it’s a miracle but yet she was badly injured, her uncle was shocked to see Alisa’s condition and straight calling 911. Alisa still blur with the incident. When she was almost passing out, she heard -
“Still survive after what I did? … Good, I shall always watch you from the darkness hehehe…” the whisper from the creature.
“Sis!” the voice woke Alisa from her past, “Come on sis, we are going to be late,” Lily said cheerfully. “Alright then Lily, watch your step,” said Alisa.
Both of the girls continue their journey to school. Alisa believe that the incident 5 years ago would not be repeated again as long as she stays out from dark. But this year, everything will change, when someone involved in the secret of the world, there is no turning back.
